WHAT is UP HA?
UP HA is a filling gel based on hyaluronic acid specially designed for restoring facial volumes. It is a non-animal synthesis hyaluronic acid (NASHA). It has an average duration of 5-8 months. UP HA is sterile, apyrogenic, latex free, viscoelastic and biodegradable.
HOW TO USE IT?
The treatment is safe, easy, painless and quick. UPHA is a filler that must be released on the subcutaneous soft tissues. The rheological characteristics of UPHA make it an extremely adaptable filler allowing its use both for superficial subdermal implants and for deep pre-periosteal implants. The implantation techniques vary according to the anatomical area treated and the final goal set (bolus, microboles, retrograde release, fan technique).
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Once injected, UPHA will expand the soft tissues giving volume. Thanks to the strong stability of its hyaluronic acid, due to the high level of purification and cross-linking, the result will be immediate and stable for months until the reabsorption will gradually reduces the aesthetic result.
WHERE IT CAN BE APPLIED?
UP HA is suitable for restoring large volumes of the face: in the malar and in the submalar region, in the zygo- matic arch, profiloplasty such as in the mandibular margin, in the chin, in the lips and in the nose. It can also be used in facial aging as a correction of the temples, of the superciliary arch, of the preauricular region, of the nasolabial folds and of the marionette lines.
WHAT ARE THE MAIN ADVANTAGES?
is a safe filler with a very low risk of incidence of adverse events directly attributable to it such as: prolonged edema, inflammation, acute and granulomatous infections, pseudonodules, capsular contractures.
The different formats that has been developed make UPHA extremely adaptable to any type of request. It is suggested the use of the 1 ml format for a single basic correction; for a more chal-lenging single fix and for multiple corrections, the 2 ml format is the ideal, and finally, for the restoration of large volumes or for a full face treatment, the use of the 10 ml format is suggested.
The particular rheological characteristics of UPHA allow it to be used in multiple anatomical areas.
The presence of lidocaine greatly reduces pain during the procedure, making it well tolerated and easier to perform.
